Battery User Manual

This manual covers the M LFP Battery 280Ah module of Mango Power M AU (product version V 1.0). Readers: system engineers, technical-support engineers, and product users. The module is designed for energy storage systems and should not be used for other purposes.

Datasheet ratings are in Battery Specifications. Inverter operation is in the User Manual.

Installation, wiring, and maintenance must be performed by trained personnel with PPE. Do not open the cover without authorization.

Before moving or rewiring, cut power input, wait 5 minutes, and confirm with a multimeter that there is no dangerous voltage on the DC bus.

Replace only with the same type of battery or battery pack. Keep Ethernet or Wi-Fi connected after commissioning so remote maintenance works.

Install a circuit breaker between the battery poles and the inverter. Recommended breaker: rated working current 250 A, 2P, Ics-10 kA.

No. Name Description
1 ON/OFF Normal operation or shutdown
2 COM-PCS PCS communication module
3 Parallel interface Parallel module
4 Positive electrode Battery positive
5 Negative electrode Battery negative
6 Light belt Indicator light
7 Ethernet Router

The module stores and releases power under hybrid-inverter management. Input and output are low-voltage DC. After matching with the hybrid inverter, it can support single-phase / three-phase AC output. Connect BAT+ / BAT- to the inverter energy-storage terminals.

The system supports capacity expansion. Wall-mounted installation. Factory defaults match the main target market for one-button start. Mobile app and cloud data management are supported.

After mounting, confirm: the pack is firm; cable routing is reasonable; ties are even without sharp corners; ground is correct and firm; the metal push-button light is OFF; DC and signal lines are correct and firm; the area is clean with no construction remains.

On

  1. Ensure the inverter is not working.
  2. Close the AC circuit breaker between the inverter On Grid port and the grid.
  3. Turn on the PV DC switch on the inverter (when PV is connected).
  4. Close the DC switch between the battery and the inverter.
  5. Turn on the battery.
  6. The inverter starts after a successful self-test.
  7. Close the AC circuit breaker between the inverter Backup port and the load.

Off

  1. Turn off all inverter loads.
  2. Open the AC breaker on the Backup port.
  3. Open the AC breaker on the On Grid port.
  4. Turn off the PV DC switch (when PV is connected).
  5. Open the DC switch between the battery and the inverter.
  6. Turn off the battery.
No. Fault Cause Action
1 No DC output after startup Low battery voltage, over-discharge protection Charge
2 Indicator light is not on after starting BMS sleep Restart the reset switch
3 Displays insufficient power Module or cell voltage too low; long storage off-grid Connect to the grid. If the alarm remains after 1 hour of charging, contact the dealer
4 Short power-supply time Pack not fully charged for a long time Grid-connect and fully charge

Inspect appearance, abnormal sound, and parameter settings once every six months. Check cable tightness and sheath damage half a year after first test, then every six months to a year. Confirm unused DC, energy-storage, COM, and waterproof covers are locked. Confirm the grounding cable is reliable on the same interval.

When ambient temperature is >45°C, charge and discharge current (power) decreases with temperature and SOC.
