This user manual covers Mango Power S (LBZ-PV-400) and Mango Power S Pro (LBZ-PV-500) for the European market. It is intended for technicians who install, operate, and maintain the microinverter, as well as sales and technical-support engineers.

US installation steps are in Installation. US datasheet ratings are in Specifications.

The S-series microinverters have passed international safety certifications. Follow these instructions in addition to local laws and regulations.

Installation, electrical connection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement must be performed by qualified electrical technicians who have completed professional training, understand this manual and electrical safety regulations, and wear PPE.

Use specialized insulated tools. Fasten screws with a torque wrench and use a dual-check system: the installer applies a blue marking after tightening; the inspector applies a red marking after verification. Failure to tighten to the specified torque may cause equipment detachment.

Do not operate the equipment or cables during thunderstorms. Do not modify the device structure or installation order without manufacturer approval. Installation must follow the Quick Guide.

This product can cause current with a DC component. Where an RCD or RCM is used for protection in case of direct or indirect contact, only a Type B RCD or RCM is allowed on the supply side of this product.

  • Consult the local power utility before connecting to the grid. Connect only after obtaining approval.
  • The microinverter input must only connect to a single PV module. Do not connect batteries or other power sources directly.
  • Maintain sufficient clearance for installation spacing and heat dissipation.
  • Before electrical connection, confirm the microinverter is undamaged. Damaged equipment may cause electric shock or fire.
  • All electrical connections must comply with local and national electrical standards.
  • Cables must be securely connected, well insulated, and of appropriate specifications.

The output terminals and AC cables of an operating microinverter carry high voltage and may cause electric shock, severe injury, death, or property damage. The microinverter becomes hot during operation; do not touch it.

Before maintenance, power off the microinverter. Output and AC cables remain hazardous. Restrict unauthorized access and use temporary warning signs or barriers. Do not re-energize until all faults are resolved. Follow ESD protection measures and wear anti-static gloves.

Mango Power reserves the right to void the warranty for: damage during transportation; improper storage; incorrect installation or usage; installation or operation by unqualified personnel; failure to follow the product documentation; operation in harsh environments or outside specified technical limits; unauthorized disassembly, modification, or firmware tampering; damage from natural disasters; expired warranty without an extended service agreement; installation or operation conditions exceeding relevant international standards.

The microinverter converts DC from PV modules into grid-compliant AC. Built-in MPPT tracks each module at its optimal operating point. The enclosure rating is IP68, with a 25-year warranty.

The unit connects to a home router through its built-in Wi-Fi module and reports data to the monitoring platform and the mobile app.

If faults occur frequently or remain unresolved, contact the local distributor or Mango Power Technical Support.

Error code Alarm status Recommended solution
100 Microinverter offline Verify the microinverter is functioning normally (check DC voltage and LED status). Confirm the serial number on the label matches the monitoring platform. If frequent alarms persist, contact the local distributor or MP technical support.
102 Grid code misconfiguration Restart the microinverter for self-check. If the issue persists, contact the local distributor or MP technical support.
103 Remote shutdown Check if the microinverter was manually turned off. If alarms continue, contact the local distributor or MP technical support.
200 Device malfunction If occasional alarms occur but the microinverter still works, no action is needed. If frequent alarms persist, contact the local distributor or MP technical support.
204 PV overvoltage Ensure the PV module’s open-circuit voltage (Voc) does not exceed the maximum input voltage. If Voc is normal, contact the local distributor or MP technical support.
206 PV undervoltage Ensure the PV module’s Voc meets the minimum input voltage requirement. If Voc is normal, contact the local distributor or MP technical support.
209 Wiring anomaly Check if DC connections for Ports 1 and 2 are correct. Verify AC extension cable wiring.
300 Device malfunction If occasional alarms occur but the microinverter still works, no action is needed. If frequent alarms persist, contact the local distributor or MP technical support.
304 Grid overvoltage Occasional alarms may indicate temporary grid anomalies; the microinverter will auto-recover once voltage normalizes. For frequent alarms, check if grid voltage exceeds limits. If so, contact the local utility operator. With their approval, adjust overvoltage protection limits via the MP monitoring platform. If alarms persist, contact the local distributor or MP technical support to update grid code settings.
306 Grid undervoltage Occasional alarms may indicate temporary grid anomalies; the microinverter will auto-recover once voltage normalizes. For frequent alarms, check if grid voltage is below limits. If so, contact the local utility operator. With their approval, adjust undervoltage protection limits via the MP monitoring platform. If alarms persist, contact the local distributor or MP technical support to update grid code settings.

Conduct annual inspections of the microinverter PV system, including PV modules, microinverters, cables, and connectors. Ensure all components are in good condition. Clean PV modules if significant power generation decline is observed. Regularly check and clear obstructions around microinverters to maintain ventilation. Only authorized personnel may perform maintenance. Wear proper PPE.

For a faulty unit, contact the local distributor or Mango Power Technical Support. Use insulated tools and wear dielectric gloves and shoes. For multiple replacements, document each SN on the SN map.

Removal

  1. Disconnect the AC branch circuit breaker of the product to be replaced.
  2. Cover the corresponding PV module with opaque material.
  3. Remove the PV module from the rails.
  4. Disconnect MC4 terminals between the PV module and microinverter using a DC disconnect tool.
  5. Disconnect AC terminals using an AC disconnect tool.
  6. Unscrew mounting bolts to remove the microinverter.

Installation

  1. Record the SN of the new microinverter.
  2. Install per the installation procedure, then power on and verify operation.
  3. Confirm status via the mobile app.

Package removed components and return them to the Mango Power local warehouse.

App: remove a device

  1. Open the device settings page.
  2. For devices in a group, tap “Remove from Device Group”. For devices not in a group, tap “Reset Device”.
  3. Wait for the device to reset.

App: add a device

  1. On the device list page, tap “Add Device”.
  2. On the Add Device page, tap the device you wish to add.
  3. In the pop-up, select “Add to an Existing Group”.
  4. Select the device group and tap “Save”.
