Installation
This guide covers the full PIPV setup, from pre-installation checks to system commissioning. For electrical and mechanical specifications, see Specifications.
Pre-installation check
Section titled “Pre-installation check”Install the MANGO POWER app
Section titled “Install the MANGO POWER app”Scan the QR code in the manual to download the MANGO POWER app and register an account. The app is used to scan the SN code and complete device pairing.
Confirm the installation location
Section titled “Confirm the installation location”Choose a suitable location with a south-facing orientation and no shading. Make sure the site is free from conditions that may affect operation, including insufficient solar irradiance or ground subsidence.
Prepare the product and accessories
Section titled “Prepare the product and accessories”After unpacking, check the product and accessories against this manual to confirm all components are complete.

Prepare installation tools
Section titled “Prepare installation tools”Prepare the following tools: M6 socket wrench, adjustable wrench, and cable ties.
System diagram
Section titled “System diagram”The system diagram is shown in the original manual. The gateway is optional.
Installation procedure
Section titled “Installation procedure”1. Assemble the mounting brackets
Section titled “1. Assemble the mounting brackets”- Take two support beams (D) and one adjustable support bar (C) to form a triangular structure. Adjust the angle as required (the second hole position is recommended), then tighten the hand-tightening screws (E) clockwise by hand.
- Assemble the second mounting bracket following the same procedure. Keep the relative positions of the two mounting brackets aligned both vertically and horizontally to prevent the PV module from tilting.
2. Secure the mounting brackets to the PV module
Section titled “2. Secure the mounting brackets to the PV module”Place the PV module (A) with the rear side facing upward, then use the hex bolts (F) to secure the mounting brackets to the PV module. It is recommended to fasten the hex bolts to the third slot of the support beam (D).
3. Secure the microinverter
Section titled “3. Secure the microinverter”Use the hand-tightening screws (E) to secure the microinverter (B) to the upper position of the support beam (D). Make sure the microinverter status indicator faces outward.
When installing multiple PV modules, keep the microinverter positions as consistent as possible. To make cable routing and management easier, do not install the microinverter too close to the upper edge.
4. Connect the cables
Section titled “4. Connect the cables”- AC connection — Use the AC trunk cable (H) to connect the AC output ports of each microinverter in sequence.
- DC connection — Insert the MC4 connectors of the PV module into the corresponding DC input connectors of the microinverter (B).
- Cable management — Use cable ties to secure the cables to the mounting brackets. Keep all cables suspended so they do not touch the ground.
- Grid connection — Insert the extended end of the AC trunk cable (H) into a nearby AC power outlet.
The AC trunk cable has no polarity requirement and may be connected in either orientation. No additional grounding is required. Depending on the installation environment, the mounting brackets can be secured by weighing them down with sandbags or stones, or fastened to a rigid concrete floor with self-tapping screws.
System commissioning
Section titled “System commissioning”1. Create the microinverter SN layout map
Section titled “1. Create the microinverter SN layout map”Remove the SN labels from each microinverter, then affix them to the SN layout map according to the actual installation sequence. Mark north on the map.
2. Register and log in to the MANGO POWER app
Section titled “2. Register and log in to the MANGO POWER app”Account registration — Enter an email address, enter the verification code received by email, tap Send Verification Code, then tap Register to complete registration and log in.
Account login —
- Email and password — Enter the email address and password, select the region, then tap Log In.
- Third-party account — Select the region, tap the third-party account icon, then confirm authorization to complete registration and login.
3. Create a power station
Section titled “3. Create a power station”Tap Add site. Enter the basic information of the power station — station name, time zone, and owner’s email address — then tap Save. The owner’s email address must be valid; the owner logs in with this email address to view the power station.
4. Create a device group
Section titled “4. Create a device group”Tap Add Device. On the Bluetooth Devices page, select the first device and choose Create a new group. Enter a custom name in Device Group Name, then tap Save. On the power distribution configuration page, enter the SSID and password of the home Wi-Fi network to configure network access for the device group.
Make sure Bluetooth on the phone is enabled before this step.
5. Install and enable the anti-backflow meter
Section titled “5. Install and enable the anti-backflow meter”Tap the Setting button next to the device group name to enter the device group settings page. Tap Anti-backflow, scan the QR code or manually enter the meter SN, then tap Add. The anti-reverse current function is enabled by default.
6. Disable the anti-backflow function (without a meter)
Section titled “6. Disable the anti-backflow function (without a meter)”For regions where the anti-reverse current function is not required, the anti-backflow meter does not need to be installed; however, the anti-backflow current function must be manually disabled. Tap the Setting button next to the device group name, tap Anti-backflow, then tap OK in the pop-up window. Wait a few seconds until the function is successfully disabled.
Step 5 and step 6 are alternatives: use step 5 when a meter is installed, or step 6 when no meter is installed.
7. Configure the module layout (optional)
Section titled “7. Configure the module layout (optional)”On the home page, tap Array, then tap Edit in the lower-right corner. Tap any grid cell, select the device SN in the pop-up window, and tap Assign Device. After all devices are configured, tap Save in the upper-right corner.
8. Installation complete
Section titled “8. Installation complete”Once the steps above are done, the installation is complete. Use the LED indicator to confirm the microinverter is operating normally.
